Have a domain at Hostinger and you want to add cname record into then you are at the right place. In this tutorial, I will show you how to add CNAME record in Hostinger.
Note: If your domain is not pointed to Hostinger nameservers then you will not be able to manage your dns at Hostinger, your dns management will be at the provider you pointed the domain to.
A CNAME (Canonical Name) record in DNS is like giving a website a nickname. It tells the internet that when someone uses that nickname to find the website, they should be directed to the actual official website.
So now let's see how to add cname record at Hostinger
Steps To Add CNAME Record At Hostinger
- Login in to your Hostinger account.
- Now it will show display your websites hosted at Hostinger, click on manage on the one you want to add cname records to.
- It will open Hostinger dashboard, In the left sidebar at the last there will be advanced option click on it and it will show more options, in the first only there will be dns zone editor click on it.
- It will open the dns editor page where you can add cname record.
- In the type select CNAME, add the Name, Target, TTL and click on add Record. This will add CNAME record in your DNS.
